Peripheral Enhancements Announces MP3 Addition to DiskGO™ Product Line

Dallas, TX - December 12, 2003

Peripheral Enhancements Corporation, a leading manufacturer of computer memory, digital media products and USB storage devices, announced today the launch of an MP3 player with a built-in USB flash drive. The new product is the latest addition to the company's fast-growing DiskGO™ consumer product line.

The DiskGO™ MP3 Player plus USB Flash Drive is now available for sale at any of the company's reseller and distribution partners and is available in 128MB and 256MB capacities. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $79.95 after rebate for the 128MB version, and $129.95 after rebate for the 256MB version. The DiskGO™ MP3 Player plus USB Flash Drive ships with earbud headphones and a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

The device allows users to easily store and listen to their favorite MP3s while also serving as a USB flash drive for quick and easy storage and transfer of files. Unlike many MP3 players currently on the market, the new DiskGO™ device allows for easy MP3 file transfer via drag-and-drop functionality, rather than requiring that proprietary transfer software be installed on the user's computer. The device's lithium ion battery conveniently charges itself each time it is plugged into the computer's USB port and provides up to eight hours of MP3 playback time
