Peripheral Enhancements Announces 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drive Addition to DiskGO™ Product Line

New DiskGO Ultra Portable Hard Drives Now Shipping

Dallas, TX - April 13, 2004

Peripheral Enhancements Corporation, a leading manufacturer of computer memory, digital media and consumer products, announced today the launch of a line of 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drives. These new products are the latest addition to the company's fast-growing DiskGO™ consumer product line.

The DiskGO 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drives are now available for sale at any of the company's reseller and distribution partners and are available in 20GB, 40GB and 80GB capacities. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $124.95 after rebate for the 20GB version, $149.95 after rebate for the 40GB version and $259.95 after rebate for the 80GB version.

The 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drive utilizes a USB 2.0 interface to transfer large amounts of information quickly from one location to another and provides a fast and convenient way to perform routine back-ups. The device is powered through the USB port but also has an available port for an external power supply. The hard drive comes in a protective, brushed aluminum casing that allows for efficient cooling.
