Peripheral Enhancements Announces FM Transmitter Addition to DiskGO™ Product Line

New DiskGO Transmitter for iPod and Other Audio Players Now Shipping.

Dallas, TX - July 19, 2004

Peripheral Enhancements Corporation, a leading manufacturer of computer memory, digital media, and consumer products such as USB flash drives and portable hard drives, announced today the launch of an FM Transmitter for Apple's iPod and Other Audio Players. This new product is the latest addition to the company's fast-growing DiskGO consumer product line.

By sending out a radio signal to one of three different frequencies (bands) on the user's home or car stereo, the DiskGO FM Transmitter allows for playback of digital files usually reserved for portable devices such as MP3 Players. The transmitter is compatible with most audio players on the market today, including the DiskGO Digital Audio Player and Apple's iPod.

"The market for digital audio players continues to increase as users become more familiar and comfortable legitimately downloading music from the internet. Using the DiskGO FM Transmitter, users can significantly increase their playback options by wirelessly connecting their digital audio player to their car or home stereo system with ease," stated Jeff Thompson, President and CEO of Peripheral Enhancements.

The device is powered by two AAA batteries and requires no additional wiring or set up. The Transmitter features high sensitivity transmission for superior sound quality, low power consumption, and a power on/status LED indicator. The DiskGO FM Transmitter is now available for sale at any of the company's reseller and distribution partners. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $19.95 after mail-in rebate.
